As some of you may have heard cPanel has updated their license pricing. With this update, we've had to adjust our pricing as well. As a web hosting company, Siteocity makes every attempt to have reasonable and competitive pricing on our hosting plans. While we have had to make changes as noted, we've worked hard to make our changes as minimal as possible.
First, our shared hosting plans (Town, City, and Metropolis) have had no change in their pricing. They continue to remain as low as $1.95 per month.
We've slightly adjusted the pricing on our reseller plans (Village, District, and Region). The following outlines the changes to our reseller plans:
Village Reseller Plan
- 50 cPanel Accounts
- 50GBs of Disk Space
- 500GBs of Bandwidth
- As low as $16.95 per month
District Reseller Plan
- 75 cPanel Accounts
- 80GBs of Disk Space
- 800GBs of Bandwidth
- As low as $26.95 per month
Region Reseller Plan
- 100 cPanel Accounts
- Unlimited Disk Space
- Unlimited Bandwidth
- As low as $41.95 per month
We're also offering an add-on for customers on the Region Reseller Plan that utilize all of the plans included 100 cPanel accounts. For an extra $1.00 per month, they can add five additional cPanel accounts. This add-on can be utilized multiple times so that you're able to to get as many accounts as you need.
Paying annually, which we've observed that most of our resellers do, will continue to net you the most savings! With these adjustments, reseller plans may increase by only $2.00 per month for you.
**** Important Note for Resellers ****
If you have a PayPal subscription we recommend cancelling it now if your next invoice is on or after October 1, 2019. If it's left in place, a payment will be made as per usual, but for the old pricing amount. This causes the invoice to be paid partially. If the invoice is not paid in full, your hosting plan will be suspended. You can create a new PayPal subscription once you get your new invoice with the new pricing. This will allow payments to be made automatically again.
We've worked hard over the last month or so, researching, comparing, and reviewing our systems and accounts to determine how best to handle this new change in license pricing. We believe these changes will allow us to continue to offer quality web hosting services and support.
I'm sure many of you are now asking, "when?". We plan to roll out these changes, so they take effect on October 1, 2019. Invoices generated on or after that date will reflect the new pricing where it applies.
If you have any questions on these changes, please don't hesitate to open a ticket with our billing department (email@example.com - or via the client area). We'd be glad to clarify anything or work with you to ensure you're on the best plan for your needs!
